Gina Giovangelo Flees Arraignment For Murder Charge

In Massachusetts, 18-year-old Gina Giovangelo has fled from her arraignment on a high-profile vehicular homicide charge. Police have not located her still although she is reportedly in a white Honda Accord. These charges that Gina Giovangelo is facing stem from the death of Lillian White on Wednesday morning.

The alleged crimes of Gina Giovangelo

After being arrested on Thursday night, Gina Giovangelo was charged with vehicular homicide. Allegedly, Gina hit and killed Lillian White on Tuesday night. In Barnstable Massachusetts, Lillian White was crossing a street in her motorized wheelchair. Gina Giovangelo hit the wheelchair, dragged the wheelchair along with Lillian away, and then left the scene quickly. Lillian White was taken to a hospital and died just before 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Gina Giovangelo arrested for alleged vehicular homicide

On Thursday morning, Gina Giovangelo was arrested after the 2007 Nissan Altima allegedly involved in Lillian White’s death was found in a commercial parking lot. Giovangelo was originally being held on $ 10,000 cash bail. Friday morning her arraignment hearing was to be held in the Barnstable District Court. Gina Giovangelo had the $ 10,000 cash bond posted for her possibly from money lenders.

Gina Giovangelo fled after arriving at the Barnstable District Court on Friday morning. She said she was going outside for a cigarette to lawyers. Gina Giovangelo was nowhere to be found when her name was called for arraignment an hour later. A full-scale manhunt has been initiated. Some reports indicate that the 18-year old is traveling along Route 28 in a white Honda Accord. Gina Giovangelo has denied all involvement with the crime.
